American Idolatry

Nicki Fellenzer relays some disturbing facts about self government--and why it is failing.

Beanie and Cecil Shot!!

"I'm Shot, I'm Cool," Claims Seasick Sea Serpent

Oh, wait, it's just Beanie Sigel.

Well, shoot (sorry), the guy "was released from federal prison after serving 12 months on a gun charge. The following month, he was acquitted of attempted murder. He also faced legal troubles after failing to pay child support." Add to that being rewarded for lyrics like these, and I guess I gotta agree with Mark Harrell, director of Men United for a Better Philadelphia (MUBP?):

It's the guns' fault. Couldn't be anything else.

Bloomberg's 1st Punch a Girly Slap

Police acting on information gathered by private investigators working on the city's civil lawsuits against the gun industry have filed the first criminal charges related to the case.
Yeah, against dealers in New York, for misdemeanor charges. Nothing indicates "prohibited persons" were sold anything. So much for the "problem" coming from out of state.

With all the hype, you'd think we'd see something more than this. Meanwhile, the lapdog press hasn't even touched on the possibility that Bloomberg and his investigators are the true criminals...

This Day in History: May 26

On this day in 1782, American Colonel William Crawford marches his army towards the Ohio River, where General George Washington has charged him with attacking local Indians who had sided with the British in the American Revolution.

Angel Update: Buy His Guns to Pay Legal Fees

KeepAndBearArms.com Founder Selling Personal Firearm Collection to Pay Gun- charge Related Legal Expenses

Own One of Angel Shamaya's Guns, Help Out a Worthy Cause

By Gary Marbut

May 25, 2006

KeepAndBearArms.com founder Angel Shamaya is selling most of his personal firearm collection to help defray legal expenses that resulted from gun- related charges in Michigan. Although the court ordered the police to return Shamaya's firearms, the legal expenses are steep -- so he's now selling those same guns. Shamaya says, "I had intended to leave these firearms to my son as his inheritance one day, but I have legal expenses to pay right now. My ultimate goal is to put this mess behind me and raise my son -- a far higher priority than owning extra guns."

The guns for sale include rifles, pistols and shotguns. Shamaya has made arrangements with a local licensed gun dealer to complete the transactions under federal and state law and ship the firearms to the new owners. Anyone interested in any of these firearms can go to the following website for details, descriptions, pictures and direction on how to make a purchase: http://www.marbut.com/angel/AngelSellingGuns.htm

"There are some really nice guns in this collection," says Shamaya. "I appreciate the support I have received from kind-hearted people in dealing with this nonsense. If you'd like to cherry pick one of my firearms, be my guest."

It's Not About "Gun Control"...

Republican Mayor Michael Bloomberg thrust himself into the national immigration debate Wednesday, advocating a plan that would establish a DNA or fingerprint database to track and verify all legal U.S. workers...

"You don't have to work _ but if you want to work for a company you have to have a Social Security card," he said.
It's about "People Control." It always has been.

Doesn't "You don't have to work" coming from a billionaire smack of "Let them eat cake"?

This tyrant has secured his place in my list of "The Ten Most Despicable People in America."

Perhaps we should all send Mike one of those fingerprints he so craves, and ask him to guess which finger it came from. I'd suggest also sending him a DNA sample, but that might get me in trouble...
