Contra Costa Times Slimes Nugent

This would normally be the place we'd insert a smart-aleck remark about the celebrity in question ... if we weren't afraid the celebrity in question would hunt us down and kill us.
Ha ha. Witty "liberal." Ha ha.

What a lying punk.

What else can be expected from a 'Kalipornia' lieberal trashpaper?

I see that the Gun Guys are claiming that Nugent was, at one time, a drug abuser: "He was hopped up on drugs years ago, and you can still see it in his eyes." It would be interesting to see if they had any more evidence supporting this assertion than their claim that they can "see it in his eyes."

I love the left--Nugent is one of the most vocally anti-drug spokesmen out there, and he routinely points to his peers who ruined their lives as a warning to the young--and talk about a guy with a healthy lifestyle.

I don't know if he ever experimented in his younger days--Lord knows he had plenty of temptation being a rock star, but so what?

Tell me the people on the left weren't hard core stoners in college.

So what?

But these hypocrites attack people for drugs, out people for being gay, and use it all as a club, all the while pretending to be social liberals, when in fact they are Marxist Puritans.

Maybe if we knew who the hell this cowardly "Mike Magnum" really was, we'd find some interesting facts about his youth...like he wet the bed until he was 23 and the boys in gym class laughed at his underdevelopment...and now he just soils himself.

If he did ever experiment with alcohol/drugs, I'm guessing that it was a LONG time ago--he has been crusading against that sort of thing for literally decades. He also denies ever having used them.

He doesn't strike me as the type to sugar coat his past--I'm guessing that if he had ever used that drugs, he would say so (which might even give him a bit more authority to talk about the evils of drugs).

But what do I know--the Gun Guys can "see it in his eyes."
