The Unequivocal "No Guns" Sign

I'm figuring maybe one of the reasons so many criminals are bringing guns onto premises posted as "gun-free" zones might be because the signs aren't clear enough. In the interest of making sure every possible effort to communicate and clarify things so no mistake about intent can possibly be made, well, I just hope this helps:

I hope this clears things up. If not, I'll admit I'm stumped. Maybe we should be thinking of a totally different approach...?

Makes it crystal clear to me. But since that's an open invitation to robbers and other violent miscreants, I don't give a damn.

Here's the handiwork of someone with the right idea.

That clear sticker is really clever--glad to see guerilla marketing in action.

And presumably the poster is made of kevlar and designed so it can be quickly pulled off and wrapped around a person for protection in case some person sees the sign and for some reason interprets it to mean "no resistance here" rather than "no guns here" :-)

Well done, David.

How about this:

NO GUNS ALLOWED.

You will be violating the law if you bring guns onto this property.

Since you criminals probably won't obey this law, this notice is meant only for law abiding citizens to obey.

If you disobey the law and bring a gun we will call the police, and prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law.

So please, please, please obey this sign, and don't bring a gun here.

Please feel free to spend your money here, but without any valid means of self-protection.

We are so serious about our no guns policy that our security personnel likewise don't carry guns.

NO GUNS ALLOWED!
