We're suprised by this because? These are the same people that like to use/abuse "high-powered" with SKS', AKs/clones, ARs, etc. They are also the same ones that were in a panic over the world's smallest pistol that shoots "deadly" 300MPH bullets (399 feet/second at 2.34 mm in size) which is not much faster than a BB/pellet gun and about half the size. No mention of how much energy the bullet has.
