White-Out in Atlanta

An Atlanta, Georgia, judge who ordered white lawyers out of his courtroom so he could lecture African-American defendants called that decision a "mistake" Tuesday night.

That's the problem with Wite...uh...White-Out. If you use it to correct something and then find out that was a mistake, all you're left with is a mess.

Blind Justice is compelled to include color-blindness.

A mistake is something you do in error without intent. A transgression of moral conduct is something you do in error with intent.

His only mistake was in not realizing that people would understand just what he did.

I can imagine judges doing the same
in earlier decades with defendants
of different background, and I don't know for certain what the judge mkeant in this instance, although it was ill-considered.
