Meanwhile, Over in Sarah Brady Paradise...

London square sealed off after police gun battle...
I can't help but feel American gun shows are at fault...

Obviously guns bought in Virginia, used in murders in New York City and thrown into the Hudson River have migrated via the Gulf Stream and come ashore in East Anglia. On the other hand, it may not ALL be our fault. Guns dumped in the English Channel after WWII may have arisen, climbed the cliffs of Dover and ... but we sent them those, too, after they trashed all their guns after World War ONE. So yes, we're to blame.

All I know is that my guns aren't to blame. I took away all their passports so they can't flee the country.

Being told to lock oneself in one's
store, home, school is a lockdown,
which procedure originated in
prisons. Greg Perry (author inter
alia of various computer books)
clarified what a lockdown is at
best:

Lockdown is an attempt to keep
collateral damage to a fixed
number (the number of those
confined) in the futile hope
that the number killed will be
those locked in the room with
the killer(s).

That's "at best" The quote is
partly from memory. cycjec
