Red's to Stay in Business

Mark Geston, an attorney representing Terry and Ryan Horsley of Red's Trading Post, said he could not yet release details, but said the proposal would allow the Twin Falls gun shop to continue operating.

We'll post them as we receive them.

Hmm....

I wonder if the ATF knew that they were about to get their ass handed to them, so they decided to 'settle' this. If they really really really had a case against Red's, they wouldn't settle. They don't play that way.

I went to Red's Blog to see if Ryan had any additional info to share. Red's blog site has been removed.

I hope this wasn't part of the settlement that was forced on Ryan. If it was I understand, sometimes you need to do stuff to stay in business. Maybe the new focus is to start silencing the most vocal (like the U.S. Marshall comment was the first shot across the bow). Hopefully, Ryan can still keep us informed in some other manner, I looked forward to reading his blog. If he has been "silenced" in order to stay in business I want to wish him Good Luck and keep up the fight.

Yeah, looks like the ATF insisted that Ryan be muzzled.

I'm glad he will be able to stay in business by saddened that his First Amendment rights are being stifled to do it.

I've got my Red's hat on today by coincidence.

I'm starting an ATF only blog. They gave me such a great idea! Thanks ATF!

He better make sure that there're no more "willful violations" of Y for Yes, and N for No and other such heinous acts. They'll swoop down from black helicopters by the score!

The Batmen won't forget this.

The case was in the judge's hands. Why did the judge not make a ruling? If he did, why isn't that ruling PUBLIC knowledge?

Sounds like the courts are once again being friendly towards the corrupt bigoted thugs. They lost their idiotic case and they know it.

Now it appears they are attempting to walk away saving face and hoping they have silenced another one of the upstarts.

After meeting Ryan, I doubt they will have a lasting victory.

I wouln't settle with the bastards.
BATFE lost the case and now they want to save face so they can stomp kittens some other day. Don't give them the chance Ryan!
Drive a stake through these vampires or they will come back for your blood!

Well, so much for the 10 day timeframe to arrive at a settlement!

Now approaching a month and a half? What conclusion could be drawn from this?

Is ATF stalling until Obama is installed as president, when they can really drop the hammer?

Meanwhile, a strong voice for civil rights, as they pertain to firearms, has been silenced.

Ominous signs.

Almost 4 MONTHS since the announcement of the 10-day settlement...no news! Ryan has moved to a new building, and continues to operate. That's the good news. Meanwhile, all evidence of the criminal activity of the ATF fades from the internet.

Petition against the ATF? Gone.

Red's trading post activism blog? Gone. Replaced by what? A single announcement of the new grand opening over a month ago.

We all understand lawyer-advised silence, while a case is pending.

We also understand malicious churning by a government agency to prevent it's bad actions from seeing the light of day.

A year from now, will anything change?
