We're the Only Ones Instructive Enough

A firearms instructor in southern Massachusetts has been assigned to other duties after his gun accidentally went off while he was teaching a class on weapons safety.

Officials say the Glock handgun discharged while Maj. Donald Lamar was demonstrating to Bristol County deputy sheriffs how to safely holster the weapon.
Evidently he was "The Only One" professional enough in this room...

Like the story said, it was the gun's doing.

Well at least the Sheriff had sense enough to say the officer committed a "gross error in judgement" by not using an unloaded weapon.

Maybe the headline should read LEO NARROWLY AVOID SHOOTING HIS OWN FOOT.

He is like the 3rd Police Instructor to do that this month.

Maybe cops should only be allowed to carry unloaded guns, if it saves just one foot, it will be worth it.
