We're the Proto-Only Ones "Animal House" Enough

Those arrested included a student who was about to receive a criminal justice degree and another who was to receive a master's degree in homeland security.
It just sounds like you young men were precocious and ahead of the curve.

My favorite quote came from the ABC report:
Ralph Partridge, special agent in charge of the Drug Enforcement Agency's San Diego division, said that "the sad part" was that the student graduating with a masters degree in Homeland Security asked "whether it would have an effect on [his] being a federal law enforcement officer."
Colleges sure are doing a great job instilling that "Only Ones" attitude, aren't they?

Don't worry son. There's plenty of market demand for someone of your ethical standing.

Good God, universities are conferring graduate degrees in "Homeland Security" now?

You just have to wonder what that curriculum contains.

" Authorities seized several guns, at least $60,000 in cash, marijuana, psychedelic mushrooms, hash oil, methamphetamine and illicit prescription drugs, authorities said. Two kilograms of cocaine and 350 ecstasy pills also were seized, officials said."

In a gun-free, drug-free zone. Yeah, that works really well.
"But, like, college COSTS, man!" Reminds me of the student caught robbing people at gunpoint to pay his tuition to become a paramedic or something.
Remember when CHEATING ON AN EXAM meant your life was over?

University of Richmond, in Virginia. A report comes in to campus police of a man seen with a handgun. EIGHTY (80) MINUTES LATER, the first e-mail, voice and text message alerts go out.
The man, wearing a fake beard and a windbreaker marked "sheriff," is turned away from the LIBRARY as a non-student around 2:45 in the afternoon. He has not been located. They THINK he has left the campus.
Students can only hope so. Literally.

From a discussion with a "proto-only one" a few years ago, I see that they are being trained in "us vs. them" thinking, and trained to think that everyone is a criminal that they just haven't yet caught.

I seriously doubt that his chances for a berth in federal law enforcement will be harmed if he can convince them he is malleable enough to assault citizens on command.

He is just the type they have been hiring for decades now. Though, they don't usually have a paper trail. However, there is always ROOT, if they can't get past the documentation of his arrest.
