When Monkey Puzzle Trees are Outlawed...

Looks like a pine, but needles are broad, fleshy cactus-like rather than stringy (Not at all syringe-like, though maybe immature children do prick each other for a prank). Name apparently comes from an observer's comment that it would puzzle a monkey to try to climb one.
It is categorized as THREATENED in its South American native habitat.
