Hello, Mr. Chips

A Rhode Island school district has announced a pilot program to monitor student movements by means of radio frequency identification (RFID) chips implanted in their schoolbags.
It's nice to see the human assets being taught inventory control at such an early age.

I wonder at what point the planners will introduce First In, First Out?

For the 99.999% who don't do anything wrong.
So convenient. No need to call roll.
Chip readers are getting more sophisicated and powerful as well as the chips themselves. 100 yards is no longer extreme, and some RFID chips are the size of a large fleck of pepper rather than a grain of rice. A brave new world. To say NO to.
Sometimes I HATE it when we're proven NOT paranoid.

Well, indeed. Posted before I went to the article. Look at that little gem. Could be implanted ... ANYWHERE.
Including the grip of any firearm.
Tick tock.

Take your children out of these places. That is your solution.

David,

I did not understand the link for, "First in First Out". Again, perhaps the government schools did not instill understanding in me.

Anon--for some reason, urls for some sites shorten in blogger--I've had problems with specific Wikipedia pages doing this before...I replaced it with a TinyURL--try it now and see if it makes sense to you.

I'm amazed that people can't see the Mark of the Beast from Revelation coming true before their very eyes!
