Lies, Damned Lies and Spotty Statistics

100-square-miles...680,000 residents...80 and 150 gunfire incidents...60 to 80 percent...thirty-five percent...221% more gunfire incidents than reported by citizens...two minutes and fifteen seconds faster...700,000 citizens protected...Series D equity funding totaling $7.5 million...deployed in 30 cities...

You know what number is missing from all this?

"One."

As in "one crime solved" or "one shooting prevented" that is verifiably attributable to SpotShotter.

What a waste of resources. But I'm sure somebody's making money. Not that I would imply urban government officials approving such purchases haven't historically exhibited the highest ethical standards...

David,
I agree, I live in Rochester NY and our city bought one of these. It was touted as a crime preventer and reducer. Well, several years later the police are using "zero tolerance" with extra police on the streets to "curb violence" No return on investment here! Next up are camera's to be mounted.
