[W]hen a cop tips off a terrorism suspect of an impending FBI raid, giving him time to destroy evidence, he isn't actually hanged. Nope, in our enlightened times he's allowed to remain on the force- and get paid no less- while Internal Affairs conduct an investigation. An investigation into matters which he has already admitted to and been found guilty of.Cryptic Subterranean gives us yet more reasons why "Only Ones" are more trustworthy than the rest of us.

The director of the Islamic Saudi Academy in nearby Alexandria has been arrested for failure to alert authorities to child abuse a student reported to him. There's a law. The school also apparently teaches that old-time (600 AD) religion, with honor killings for adultery and converting from Islam permissible. The academy says it no longer uses those textbooks, which were mistranslated and misinterpreted anyway. That's like a politician saying "I did not take those bribes, and besides, I donated all the money to charity."
