What's Good for the Gus...

Few Americans would invite an investigation by the Internal Revenue Service, but that's exactly what Minnesota pastor Gus Booth wanted when he stood behind his pulpit and told his congregation God wanted them to vote Republican.
Who the hell does this guy think he is?

Snuffy Pfleger?

This is a first. Black preachers and churches have been getting away with this for years. It's about time someone stood up for our side, of course he'll be vilified as a racist and bigot for his troubles.

From my understanding... If the particular church didnt apply for and receive whatever the designation is for tax code/status (501-C?) then it isnt against the tax code to tell who to vote for. You can be a religios/non-profit group and still not pay taxes and still have total free speech.
