We apply for and receive concealed weapons permits, not because we plan to carry a gun around, but because we want be able to legally transport guns in our vehicles without leaving them in plain sight, as the law requires...We don’t own fully automatic weapons...We don’t stockpile ammunition...It is a mistake to confuse gun owners like those I’m describing with extremist groups like Minutemen and Survivalists.We've met this chukarhead before. Now he wants to be an NRA director.
I wonder if he'll get enough signatures to get on the ballot.

Mr. Wray has responded. It seems he was misunderstood. He was just generalizing. He probably didn't mean what he said before he said it. Awwww.
Please note in his response how carefully he dons his ghillie suit ... supports "unrestricted" 2A, shoots full auto weapons, was a Marine (shooting .50 cal), carries concealed, reloads, has thousands of rounds, etc. Whew! Good thing he said all of that otherwise the NRA apologists would have nothing to beat us (princi .... I mean, stubborn, divisive, fearmongering gun owners) over the head with.
Stockpile ammo is in todays world a smart thing to do because the cost of ammo is going through the roof. Today, right now is as cheep as its ever going to be so if you have a little extra money and can afford to buy a little extra. It's a smart money wise thing to do.
