The Sounds of Silence

Have you noticed the total silence about this issue in the Presidential campaign?

By his actions - not his words - we know that Barack Obama is a long time proponent of every imaginable gun control scheme. He is a perfect fit for the gun grabbers in his party.

And where is John McCain on this issue? Silent.

--Bob Barr Campaign Solicitation E-Mail
You know what to do if a presidential candidate keeps silent about a gun rights-related issue, Bob?

Hold a poster contest.

In the immortal words of Bill James, I'm not sure if that qualifies as chutzpah or chutzpidity.

They're both quiet, because when it comes to disarming the Republic, they got game. Remember what Aristotle said about a traitor? A murderer is less to fear.

I've noticed my blog getting a few hits for the search "Obama stand on gun control". Seems like some people are trying to find out the truth of his stance beyond the media parroting that he thinks it's an individual right. They leave off the bit about an inalienable right meaning one thing in cities and another in rural areas.

Seems like it's time to spread the word as much as possible about what he really represents.

I wrote an email to Barr's campaign on June 23rd demanding some feedback on the 2A.

That email was finally read today. And of course...I got no response.
