Why We Must Keep the Parks Ban

Campgrounds Near Yellowstone National Park Closed After Bear Bites Camper
"Common sense" regulations in action. Just the way the green-bloods want to keep things--red.

How many maimings and deaths will it take?
The victim apparently took all precautions to avoid attracting bears. Sometimes they just show up anyway.
Humans. No fur, no claws, no fangs, no antlers or horns. Just a big brain and the ability to invent protective tools. Which THEY want to deny us, even when we go into 100% animal domain.
I'd rather be in the hospital wing of a prison for killing a grizzly than be a light snack. People matter more than bears. People matter more than animals.
It's really tiresome to hear people contradict that, but they swiftly agree when it's THEIR heiney-meat on the menu. "Doesn't anybody have a GUN!?!"

haha, okay, two things:

one, i wish my sig P220 was big, could fly over parks, and had an evil-looking dark aura. i probably wouldn't have to load it; i could just summon it to my side with an incantation?

alright, alright.

"people are more important than animals" -- well, hang on. does it even matter to know such importance? i don't think that the question, "are people more important than animals?" even makes sense. they certainly can't speak up for themselves.

i don't think it's a decideable question. in my opinion, that's what the true value of human life is all about: you simply cannot even be compared or valued.

even so... our role as the keepers of the beasts of the earth ought to fit in there somewhere.

But wait, all of the Anti-Gun experts have assured me that a mere handgun would only make the bear angry, and result in a worse mauling.

This is bad stuff because many people carry anyway in bear country. If attacked by a bear and someone shoots the bear but doesn't kill it. That bear is far more dangerous than ever before. Dose the shooter tell the park rangers so they can track the bear down. Or keep a lid on it and hope the bear doesn't kill anyone or more than one.
This is one of the stupidest laws on the books. To not allow people protection in bear country is clearly government parasites with their heads up the asses.
