Challenging BS

This year, her Republican opponent, Mineola Village Mayor Jack Martins, is promising to make McCarthy's long tenure in Congress - rather than her newness - the main issue in the campaign. With a well-funded campaign, Martins may prove McCarthy's most serious challenge in years.
What, old BS (Barrel Shroud) McCarthy has some competition?

Thing is, I looked at this guy Martins' campaign site and elsewhere on the web. I can't find anything that suggests he gives a damn about RKBA.

Anybody know different? Or are the Republicans giving us more BS of their own?

We've ben stabbed in the back by a lot of "pro-gun" RINOs, so what difference would it make if he DID say he's pro-gun on his site?

Republican BS? Here in Central Virginia, oor "best friends" have for decades held rallies and other meetings at a meeting and convention center that prohibits guns, even if you're a good comrade and get the concealed-carry permit. You're still not to be trusted.
Words are great; I LOVE words. People need to be reminded that they mean things, though, and if you say one thing and do the other, after a few dozen times people begin to wonder about you.
The RSVP email for the NEXT one seems to have been disconnected after Virginia Citizens Defense League suggested we call them on their hypocrisy.

It's probably a wise strategy for that district, which has kept McCarthy, who's only real issue is guns, in office for as long as they have. There are districts out there where being pro-gun won't get you anything, and even a few where it can hurt you. Hers may be one of them. In that case, if you can't get her out on that issue, get her out on another one. Even if this guy isn't the gun owners best friend, if he ignores guns, it's an improvement over the incumbent, who is a leader (although thankfully an incompetent one) against us.

I wouldn't go so far as to say gun owners should vote for this guy, but it would be hard for him to be worse than Carrie McCarthy. The fact that he's not running on gun control is a pretty strong indication he'll be better.

May as well give him a try. I doubt he could be worse than McCarthy on guns.

Which is precisely what gives the repubs no incentive to ever change.
