It All Depends

Microchips in tablets could monitor pills

That they could.

And depending on who's doing the monitoring, that could do a lot of good.

Depending on who's doing the monitoring...

You're certain that won't alter the chemicals in any way?

This is going to tackle the problem of patients...refusing...to take their pills.

hmmm.

What if I don't want your stinking pills?

As a medical professional, I can't think of one single legitimate reason to put these "chips" in any medication. I don't care who monitors them or why.

Of course, I don't think 99% of the chemical medications prescribed are worth the powder needed to blow them up anyway.

Pills and chemicals are what western medicine usually offers INSTEAD of actual health care.

Surgery for physical damage is one of the few exceptions...

And yes, a trip through the microwave would probably destroy most medications. Best not to take them with or without chips in them.

The only chips I want are those that go with the onion dip...
