Misery Demands Company

"In my opinion, part of the biggest issue is the lack of uniformity in gun laws and what it takes to legally purchase a firearm," Murphy said. "It's been fairly well documented through cases in this department that a lot of guns are purchased legally in other states and transported to Massachusetts."
Well get with the program and recognize it as a right then. Sheesh.

Oh, and here's AHSA President Emeritus John Rosenthal exploiting the fabricated gun show/terrorist nexus. And "Mad Anthony" Riello tying it all in with drugs.

This account says up front the guy with the estranged wife submitted ID to buy his guns--he wasn't dealing with the underworld. So where did the hysterical terror/drug propaganda gain a legitimate foothold to even be introduced as a story element?

Oh, right. "Authorized Journalists." I knew that.

All just a bunch of government phantom menaces. Recognize that government has no legitimate authority to regulate or control our lives as long as we are harming no one else and these problems will fade away. If the state keeps trying, these problems will get worse until civilization crumbles.

There's a quick and simple answer to this problem for the gun haters of Massachusetts. They need to use the Tenth Amendment of the United States Constitution and become their own country. They can at that point have check points and screen every car that comes into the state.
This is something that I whole heartedly would support and throw every ounce of energy behind. That would be removing Massachusetts from this country to get their freaks out of both houses of congress and their voters out of national elections. After that state becomes I would support NY, NJ and CA to become their own independent countries as well.
This could be the best thing that ever happened to this country.

I wonder if it's fairly well obvious to Murphy that Americans have been purchasing a lot of ammo and guns, for well, ahem. III.

Peculiar to say the least, that of all the examples given, none were the result of any harmful activity by the gun possessor.

avgjoe,
I saw this morning that MA would have to borrow the money to secede. Going broke with all of the socialist programs, just like CA.

my favorite part of being a gun owner in MA is how friendly everyone is -- even the obama maniacs. imagine if they knew about the P220 on my hip.

ever read the book black like me? i think i understand a bit how that feels.

i agree with the hope that this state flushes itself down the tubes via socialist social engineering. i'm a fixer-upper kind of guy; at least it'd be something to work with.

we'll see a fresh new MA before i'm dead and gone, i intend that. in every great thing is contained the seed of its own destruction, so they say.
