Not the Answer Paul's Looking for

Gun shows don't contribute to increased homicide or suicide rates, according to results of a study announced Wednesday by the University of Michigan's Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy.

So count on Paul Helmke to insist that they do.

The facts don't matter to freaks like Paul and the rest of the United States Constitution haters. Facts are only facts, they base their actions on, "what could happen". With guns you have to understand the moron mindset:
It could happen.
It might happen.
It could have.
It may have.
You don't want to wait and see.
When viewing any of these points they can be seen as facts because its a fact it could happen, some day. So don't be upset if these idiots don't pay any mind to facts and solid studies because the only fact they understand is, "it could happen".

Don't you just love it? These poor excuses for people are always starting their anti-gun diatribes with "Studies show.....blah, blah, blah".

But when pushed to reveal which studies those are they either can't tell you or cite studies that have been rejected by every knowlegeable person in the field as fraudulent. But show them a real study taken over an 11 year period and they just say "It ain't so."

One cannot deal with these people. One cannot compromise with them. One dare not give them the benefit of the doubt as honorable who are just misled or wrong. Because they are not honorable, they are not misled, they are wrong, but they know that. They don't care. They want power over you and they will do anything to get it. Anything!

Helmke thinks this study is flawed, but I'll bet he still clings to that most-dicredited study of all, Kellerman's 43 to 1 study, as if it were Gospel.

Many years ago my Dad gave me some very good advice:

"Never argue with a man who already has his mind made up - It will serve only to piss him off and it's a waste of your precious time."

Or as Mark Twain said,"You can't reason a man out of a position he didn't reason himself into."
