But in Ourselves...

It is what it is. The spawn of the Chicago political machine has won, bringing with him all that implies.
"But in Ourselves..." is my post-election commentary for today's Gun Rights Examiner column.

Just saw on Yahoo where Obama is being hailed as the "first truly global president".

To me, that's not praise; that's an indictment!

The worst thing that will come out of an Obama presidency is all manner of socialist treaties with the U.N. that will supercede our Constitution, destroy our Bill of Rights, and will remain in effect until the U.S. is no more.

It's really looking like the Great Tribulation of the Revelation is almost upon us. We live in interesting times.

I would point out that treaties which violate the Constitution are void, but what does that mean in this age of democracy?

Hey, how come Federal laws that violate the Constitution aren't immediately considered null and void?

We have survived FDR's socialistic regime, the JFK Camelot "Ask not what your government can do for you, ask what you can do for your government" regime, the G.W. Bush preemtive strike wars on Terror, as well as the Clinton idiocy.

I believe we can live through the "lightbringer's" bulls**t also.

It will however become more and more critical for each of us to keep an eye on the Federal Register, and the day-to-day activities of the congress. When one of our elected idiots comes up with a cockamamie bill whether it involves gun control or any other violation of our rights we must immediately inform each and every one of our compatriots and flood the capitol hill mail-room with our protests. I, for one am tired of being nice. It's time overdue for us to start being a nuisance, a pain in the ass. These people are our hired hands. It's PAST time they started earning their wages.

The wolves have decided who they want for dinner. It's past time for the main course's rebellion.

The Roman army standard-poles were topped with the letters SPQR -- signifying that they acted on the authority of the Senate and People of Rome.
Hitler modeled his own standards after them.
Both empires fell due in part to overextending their reach beyond their ability to control. It's a common mistake governments make.
I wait for the day when the Obamanoids realize he's not black, he's not mixed, he's pure elitist. It's what happens when people are judged, not by the content of their character, but by the color of their skin and the content of their CARE packages.
2008: "This is the beginning of hope."
2010: "Uh, do I know you?"

I happened to see in the Today in History feature in the local paper that it's Guy Fawkes Day.
"Remember, remember, the fifth of November."
