Up, Up and AWAYYY!

With U.S. Rep. Mark Kirk's victory one of the few bright spots for Republicans in a Democratic sweep across the country, the Illinois GOP establishment is looking to the Highland Park Naval Reserve officer for leadership on a statewide ticket.

Former Gov. Jim Edgar today said Kirk would be a good candidate for Barack Obama's Senate seat come 2010 and state Sen. Kirk Dillard, a Hinsdale Republican himself looking at a statewide bid, also pointed to Kirk for that spot on the ballot.
What I want you to do is read this.

Then I want you to look at these.

Then I want you to ask yourself why no one else in the district got involved to oust this guy, and how republican gun owners there chose party over principle. Their apathy, ignorance, and moral cowardice helped ensure this bit of treason would be inflicted on the land.

Thanks, guys. Way to hold the front line. And now he's primed to do even more damage.

Sure, Seals was an anti. But he wasn't a leader, like Kirk. If you don't punish and make examples out of turncoats, if you reward them instead, that's what you're going to get.

A blind person could see this. Assuming he's not self-blinded.

He sold out for a front row seat at the public trough.

Those people will get what they deserve.

Geesh!

That wouldn't bother me. But they've imposed him on the rest of us.
