Like a Virgin

"It's outrageous," Sharon Akabas of the Institute of Human Nutrition at Columbia University, told the New York Daily News. "What's next? Are we going to start taking guns out to some of these remote places and ask them which one they like better?"
That's not a bad idea, there, Sharon.

Then they might be able to keep collectivist tyrants from ruling them.

I remember cheering about Romania at this time of year not so long ago. One of the best Christmas present ever, when Nicolae and Elena got their recommended daily allowance of both lead and justice.

Perhaps I'm insensitive, but I really didn't find the commercials offensive.

Silly me. ;-)

Why is it bad to treat people to new and exotic foods? And should they only be given a meal if they don't need it?

Uh, sweetheart, if you took guns out to a remote area, one of two things would happen:

1. They'd shoot you with theirs because you're a threat (good on them)

2. They'd show you theirs, and say "this one's actually my favorite, I don't need yours"

You see, pumpkin, people in remote areas aren't liberal slaves, like yourself.
