Meanwhile, Across the Pond in Sarah Brady Paradise

‘Dress down’ or risk being robbed, police tell women
She asked for it. Look at the way she was dressed.

Yep. It's come to that.

isn't this the justification some muslim men have used for raping a woman who wasn't wearing a burqa?

Anon: yes, and in time it will come to that also in formerly great Britain.

Funny (or rather sad) how the Brits think the only recourse is more surveillance...

I recall years ago hearing of an italian rape case dismissed, because the victim "wore tight jeans" I'm not kidding.

Joe G.you are right. One of our courts in 1999 affirmed that since the girl was wearing jeans she could not have been raped since it would have been impossible to take her pants off without her "cooperation". Fortunately, a similar case happened recently, and when the goblin tried to get acquitted due to the fact that the girl was wearing jeans, his request was denied and he got convicted.

But it gets even better.

Recently, a new law is being discussed in order to fight prostitution. The article David linked made me think of the fact that according to the law being discussed, if a girl dresses in too sexually provocative a way, theoretically, she could be considered a prostitute soliciting clients and get fined for it.

Take a walk in Milan or Rome in spring or summer, and see how many girls, specially foreign tourists, are dressed "like they were soliciting" right in front of the Duomo or the Trevi fountain.

Unbelievable, our "Only Ones" politicians get dumber & dumber every year.
Instead of making prostitution illegal (which by the way is not)or regulate it, they resort to these stupid and ineffective laws with the excuse of "keeping decency in the street"...

Kind regards
