A Uniform Approach to Fighting Gang Violence

...in Norfolk schools.

Good grief. How many ways that this is just plain stupid can you think up?

Hey, when you're already $22M in the hole and have $15K to blow on willfully violating gun owner rights, what's the cost of some school uniforms?

UPDATE: Kent McManigal raises an excellent point:

"If they are in uniforms everybody has on the same color shirt, same color pants and they feel the same about themselves," added Lewis."

What is it with control freaks and "feelings?" Just because you put a shirt on someone doesn't mean they're going to "feel" any different. The predators among them will still be predators. They will find ways to identify themselves, and their behavior will not change.

What a bunch of knuckleheads.

School uniforms will be the standard within ten years, I'd put (small amounts) of money on it.

Because we all know gang members in prison uniforms never fight... right?

Must suppress individuality and uncontrolled thoughts. Left, Right, Left, Right..... goose-step purposefully right into the "showers".
