We're the Only Ones Like a Good Neighbor Enough

Just as they were about to get the cat, Smith said, "This guy comes barreling out of his house, flashed his gun and his badge, and started screaming and freaking out."

...The Phoenix Police Department said their officer has a right to defend his property. [More]
Right.

I'm sure if Smith brandished to an "Only One" over something like this they'd have the same reaction.

Not being there I can only go on this news report. By the report and the folks who were there it seems to me like this guy has some serious issues.
I would have told him to bit me and got the cat. If he shot me, then he would have shot me. If he knocked me off the latter I would have pressed charges and fild a civil suit. If he tried to arrest me for saving the cat. Fine, call up a cop on duty and I'll get a report on this matter with the folks at hand. Than I would file a civil suit against him. A civil suit of that kind wouldn't be covered by the taxpayers.
All said and done. The PHX police need to review this matter. I believe there may be a person that is having a problem with the entrusted power he has.

If the police review the matter, it will be found that "no wrong was committed by the officer".

Okay, So how many times has anyone seen a dead cat in a tree? I didn't think so. What's the problem?
