We're the Only Ones Leaving No Good Deed Unpunished Enough

A good Samaritan who helped push three people out of the path of a pickup truck before being struck and injured has gotten a strange reward for his good deed: A jaywalking ticket. [More]
And if he doesn't pay it, they will come and bind him and take him. And if he resists, they will employ force, up to and including the lethal kind.

Because the "Only Ones" need to make sure we're all safe...

Sounds like an opportunity to me...
Maybe I just like confrontation.
Maybe I just hate stupid people.
Either way, I'd simply have to not pay it and give it the public attention that it deserves.
This is an opportunity for the "Only Ones" to look stoopid enough. :-)

"Trooper"? More like "stormtrooper". Time to blow up the Death Star.
