We're the Only Ones Lying on Our Applications Enough

A Springfield judge has thrown out almost $2 million worth of cocaine and a loaded handgun as evidence in a drug trial because he says he doesn't believe two police officers told the truth when they applied for a search warrant. [More]
As much of a Sopranos character like "Big Fish" Jimmy appears, I'm actually glad to see the judge insist on a proper warrant.

I'd be even gladder if the perjuring "Only Ones" now faced charges. Lying on a warrant or under color of authority in general ought to invoke severe special penalties.

I bet it is not too common for Brockton based attorneys to work in Springfield court.
