Earning His Stripes

The chief federal judge in Southeast Georgia gave a judicial tongue-lashing to a Waycross firearms dealer for "self-serving" and "unbelievable" testimony about his failure to keep records of weapon transactions at his gun shop. [More]
I wouldn't mind administering a lashing myself.

To anyone who would presume authority over this matter without being able to produce authorization.

"... shall not be infringed." Plain English, not Sanskrit or Martian. I'm sure one of the smart folks who visit here could put it in lawyerly Latin for the judiciary types. Also "too big for his britches."

I'm not "lawyerly" by any means, but here is my attempt to put it about as plainly as I can:

"Because a Very Effective, Armed, Population is Essential in order for America to stay Free and safe, the Absolute Right of Everyone to Own and to Carry any type of Weapon they choose, in any way they wish, anywhere they see fit, cannot be regulated, licensed, or even questioned in the smallest way!"
