Olofson Awaits

A Wisconsin man sent to prison for having a malfunctioning semi-automatic rifle is awaiting word from the 7th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on whether he'll have to serve the rest of his 30-month term. [More]
We shall see...

There was enough prosecutorial misconduct in Olofson's trial that any impartial judge will throw out the conviction.

Let's all hope and pray that Olofson gets a judge worthy of the bench.

Remember, GOA has a page to donate on a one time basis or a monthly debit to help his family get by while he's caged here.

If Olofson loses then anyone who owns a semiautomatic firearm will be fair game for BATFE to charge with the same offense. They can confiscate your gun, test it until they make it malfunction, then arrest you.
And David Olofson has been tried, convicted, and served over a year of his 30 month sentence and the NRA is still thinking about whether to become involved or not. Remember that little fact next time ol Wayne hits you up for a donation.

Wayne (frenchie) LaPierre, apparent NRA owner for life may kiss my royal ass...what 'disposable' dough I've got goes to GOA, JPFO and local causes.

Unfortunately Mr. Olofson will not find justice; his rights are forfeit, his livelihood destroyed and his future dim in our global socialist collective nation.

They can test it until they can get it to malfunction.
Fact is they will not let anyone test it on the side of the defense. So all the people have is a video of a firearm misfiring. How on earth do we know they don't have one AK and one AR and use the same two firearms to sent thousands to prison with.
One more reason they want to get a new AWB so they can go through the records and drop in on some American. Taking their firearms and running the video of the rigged test with another firearm at their trials. LOL, this is far larger than most folks ever dreamed.
