You should know about the move by the Obama administration against us. We have been waiting, and now it has happened.

DOD posted a directive this past week cancelling all contracts to ammunition remanufacturers, stating henceforth, all military fired brass would be shredded and turned to scrap, rather than being sold to the civilian remanufacturing market.

The effect this will have on the country's ammunition supply is immeasurable--but it will drive the cost of ammunition beyond the means of most shooters.

Tom Gresham devoted his entire show to the subject today--you can hear the show from this afternoon at www.guntalk.com.

Go to my blog--www.theshootist.net--for the full story, and a sample letter to members of Congress.

They have made their move. We must strike back, quickly and resolutely.

Thanks.

Gordon--I brought this up on Friday.

I do plan a follow-up, probably this week.

One cannot "strike back" with words. Sorry, that's the way it is. The other side controls the official meaning of those words.

So exactly how much are your taxes going up to finance this? I mean I assume that the DOD wasn't giving away a precious resource (although now I say it out loud, why assume that?). So what's the bill?
