The Supreme Law of the Planet

JUDGES should interpret the Constitution according to other nations' legal "norms." Sharia law could apply to disputes in US courts. The United States constitutes an "axis of disobedience" along with North Korea and Saddam-era Iraq.

Those are the views of the man on track to become one of the US government's top lawyers: Harold Koh. [More]

The primary mission of the current crop of traitors in power is to destroy the Republic.

Or am I missing something?

An awful lot of people need to be tried and hung for treason. I pray I live to see the day.

If this isn't treason, what is?

Typical liberal BS. In order to implement their wonderful society based on theories that have never been proven to work they would destroy our own system that, though flawed, is still better than anything ever tried before. That is if you base your judgement on the amount of personal freedom enjoyed by the average citizen. If what you're after is power and control, always in the hands of the idealistic leaders of whatever movement is trying to take over of course, then destroying the best game in town is just the first step.
It's easy and somewhat comforting to believe that our opponents are merely stupid and just don't get it. Don't you believe it. They are the enemy and intend to destroy our way of life, and if we do not resist they will win.

Friend of mine was discussing what to do if and when gun confiscations start.
"Then it'll be time to go downtown," I say.
"And march? Protest?" he asks.
"YOU can if you want to," I reply. "I can't see where that's done any good."
A few seconds' pause, then comprehension. "Oh."
They really don't believe, in their ultimate arrogance, that we will refuse, resist and hit the "Reset" button.
Make sure the women in your life know that female disobedience is first addressed with "a light slap" under Sharia law. If disobedience continues, the husband is advised to beat her in ways that will not leave marks that spoil her beauty for him in bed.
The phrase "rule of thumb" comes from the ancient law saying a man can beat his wife, but the stick he uses cannot be bigger in diameter than his thumb. I think the Christian religion gave that up about ... oh, 300 years ago.

In other words, medieval minds want to rule us. Obama has the talent scouts out.
I may change my name to Ray Zerwire. If you don't grab or push, you don't get hurt. Simple.

Just what parts of the Constitution does this oath breaking SOB intend to adhere to? Obviously, not the establishment clause of the 1st Amendment.

If the U.S. is going to interpret the Constitution according to other nations' legal norms we might as well throw 5000(+) years of history down the tubes and revert to sitting naked in trees and piling poop in our hair along with the rest of the lower primates.

Harold Koh is a prime example of a high degree of education not necessarily resulting in a corresponding degree of intelligence, morals or ethics.

It's people like him that both the Federalists and Anti-federalists warned us about, during the 1787 debates.

All Americans, especially those in government, need to re-read the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, The Federalist and Anti-Federalist papers. I'm paraphrasing somebody ? here, "Those with eyes, let them see. Those with ears, let them hear."
