We're the Only Ones Certified Enough

Cutts was one of 10 officers convicted in the past five years that the AP found still had the authority to make an arrest or carry a gun, at least on paper. [More]
So according to the law, a convicted murderer "Only One" is technically still more trustworthy to keep and bear arms than I am...?

"Merely resigning or being fired does not mean an officer would lose his police powers."
Of course not. Training a replacement Brownshirt takes a year and costs $150,000. Now that PDs and the military are accepting felons, Cutts could start over as a patrol officer pretty much anywhere else. It saves the taxpayers money. Those who survive.

WTF are "police powers"? Did ohio start a superhero program when i wasnt looking?

Maybe they confused them with police responsibilities, but i tried that, and it didnt seem to fit either.
