Does Richard Lugar Work at Being a RINO Idiot...

...or do you think it comes naturally?
Now add Republican Senator Richard Lugar to the list of politicians cited the bogus 90% number. [More]
It doesn't surprise me.

He doesn't understand the First Amendment either.

Where do these nitwits come from, and why do so many stupid and uniformed voters keep returning them to the trough?

Because those voters get lots of goodies from that trough, and that's all people care about. Have you read The Myth of the Rational Voter?

He shouldn't have been mayor of Indy let alone senator. I asked him why he voted for an antigun bill. He sent a form letter saying he fully supported the 2A BUT there needed to be reasonable restrictions blahblahblah ad nauseum. Interestingly, Schumer sent virtually the same note to one of his constituents. Bords of a feather.

He did not get into office with my vote!

Nor mine, Mike. The letter I got back from him regarding the illegal immigrants fiasco last year was so condescending I damn near choked.
He can kiss my ass and join the long line of Hoosiers that are unemployed.

I'm to pissed to write him again right now. The DHS already classifies me as a Rightwing Extremist. I's have a SWAT team here if I told him what I think of him at this moment.

If we can rely upon Wikipedia, Richard Lugar's opponent Steve Osborn (Libertarian) in 2006 received 13% of the vote against Lugar.

Perhaps if Mr. Osborne had more monetary support than $0 to Mr. Lugar's $5 million raised and $3 million spent ($2 million left in hand) there wouldn't be a Senator Richard Lugar from Illinois.

Not that *I* think it is all about money, but there are plenty of people who think it is.
