Terror in the Land of "Project Exile"

In a regional breakdown of potential terrorist threats, the report notes that Hampton Roads and the Richmond area each have two historically black universities. Although it doesn't cite them by name, the apparent reference is to Norfolk State University, Hampton University, Virginia State University in Petersburg and Virginia Union University in Richmond.

University-based student groups "are recognized as a radicalization node for almost every type of extremist group," the report says. [More]

More "Homegrown Terrorists" to justify "fusion center" budgets?

In a way, I can see Hampton U being singled out. What they promulgate is pretty terrifying.

Still, it wasn't supposed to be this way in Richmond.

We were promised.

Apparently everyone EXCEPT the Department of Homeland Security is a suspected terrorist. And they're starting to turn on each other. Napolitano has NO idea how that report got out. She's only the Director.
The Michigan Militia said as much in 1994: "No matter which way you turn, they'll find a reason to take you with them."

In most Virginia cities, gangs rule, even the neighborhoods surrounding police precinct stations. IF they're caught in an act of violence, they turn out to have a long violent record, yet they get a suspended sentence, on top of all their previous suspended sentences. If they REALLY mess somebody up bad, they might get 10 years, with 9 years and 6 months SUSPENDED, on the maiming, and 5 years, no break, on using a gun in a felony, with "convicted felon in possession of a gun" DROPPED. A 5-year gun charge instead of 20-to-life for attempted murder, that's an excellent bargain. Judges are jaded; just more meat down the conveyor belt.

The police don't even go into some neighborhoods anymore, not even in groups. Except in the daytime sometimes to search mamas' and grannys' apartments for "contraband." At night, it's Baghdad.
