We're the Only Ones Patterned After Ourselves Enough

The FBI memorandum describes a pattern of corruption among a group of Philadelphia narcotics officers: false information used to get search warrants, planted evidence and perjured testimony, thefts of drugs, cash, and valuables from dealers. [More]
No doubt "just a few bad apples." Right?

Say, do you think this might explain why Philly "Only Ones" and the politicians they strong-arm for are trying to impose extra-special citizen disarmament edicts above and beyond what the state requires?

From the mayor to the street-sweeper who collects sidewalk bricks for his patio. Government job, license to ... do anything.
Would unfettered access to all drugs cause anything WORSE? People who are going to ruin their lives and their family's lives with addiction are doing it despite all this enFORCEment and skullduggery.
Who says "You can't fight city hall"? City Hall does.
