We're the Only Ones Turned Around Enough

A federal drug agent who helped put more than a dozen local residents behind bars may soon face the same fate.

Lee M. Lucas, 41, was indicted by a federal grand jury Tuesday in Cleveland on 18 counts related to a 2005 local drug investigation dubbed Operation Turnaround. [More]
Maybe they can bunk him with the guys he set up?

I see the investigation is continuing. Any bets on whether Lucas was the "Only One" in on things?

Hoist on his own petard, i.e., blown up by the mine he laid. When I was 41, I was on a spiritual quest about being a better person.

Hmmm. $6 million worth of methamphetamine identified as Mexican seized near Atlanta. 350 pounds. That drug war. Customers just aren't getting into the spirit. Neither are the meth chefs. Methinks the "cure" is worse than the disease.
Writing Congress is just typing practice.
Well, at least defendants get to confront their accuser SOMETIME, even if it's in prison.

What am I going to complain about when the drug war ends?

Well, at least Gil Kerlikowske, the new Drug Czar, said in the WSJ: "Regardless of how you try to explain to people it's a 'war on drugs' or a 'war on a product,' people see a war as a war on them," and "We're not at war with people in this country."
