The Fruits of Obedience

Thousands of South African firearm owners who have legally disposed of their firearms could be on the wrong side of the law due to no fault of their own by next month, a hunting body said on Monday. [More]
I'm supposed to give a damn about people who care so little about their freedom that they will "dispose" of their guns? And the best the sportsman's lobby can offer is telling gun owners to contact the government to report themselves and make sure they're obedient to every new outrage?

This is what happens when you follow the counsel of surrender.

Oh, but if it wasn't for CHASA, we wouldn't have any firearm rights left at all...

Yeah, you people keep believing that.

I especially like the part that if they don't have the documents or the safe storage, to hand them in to the cops for "safekeeping". Can I get odds on them getting them back? Or in not getting a late night visit to convince them not to try? I bet when the fuds in this country are being herded into the barbed wire enclosures, that the NRA has liason people inside, ready to keep things calm, and soothe their fears. Only thing is, that smokestack out back never stops belching smoke.

A nation of suspects. The actual criminals aren't suspected, they're known. They are the excuse, same as here.
What does the SA government have planned for its people, that it must know where the guns of the ordinary citizens are up to the minute? They're surrounded by Marxist dictatorships.

these people also tolerated firearms registration.

and, funnily enough, re-registration. wonder why they'd do that?

Hmm, I don't think the article means disposed in the thrown away or surrendered sense, but rather the legalese way to say one simply no longer possesses them. I.E., private sales, gifts, trades, etc..

This is the end result of trusting defense of your firearms rights to Fudds.

SA is where women need weapons the most:
http://www.health24.com/Woman/Medical_women/711-3538-3545,51402.asp

This is a web page to inform rape victims about what to do after their (inevitable, unless rich with armed guards at all time) rape experience.

A KBAR and .357 in the trained hands of a few dozen hot young women would result in a sudden drop in the social acceptability of rape as a normal/common experience. Word would get around about the rapists who "just disappeared" (into pre-dug anonymous vertical graves out in the country somewhere).

SA crimes of rape/maiming & murder without legal consequence is intentional genocide and "racial cleansing" of white South Africans, with winking and nodding of SA courts/politicians.
