Let us not forget who provided the money behind Hitler and his nazi party. That den of cockroaches still has some more nasty tricks up their sleeves.
People say that these were brave men that hit the beaches. I have always said these guys were scared shitless very young men who followed their orders and training without any second thoughts. I have over the years got to talk with many of these guys and not one of them will call themselves brave. So I respect their wishes. They say the brave ones are the ones that died and they themselves were just following orders. Talk about humble! What they saw and heard on those beaches that day is something I hope young guys never have to go through again. What a blood bath D-Day was.

No, Avg Joe, they are wrong as are you. Bravery is not the absence of fear, but the conquest of it.

Scared shitless or not, they conquered that fear and that makes them exceedingly brave.
