Torture Not Unconstitutional

Taser use to obtain DNA not unconstitutional [More]
Now imagine if they tried this at Gitmo.

Oh well, I can hear the police state apologists telling us what a scumbag the suspect was and how he deserved what he got. Their dim, worshipful minds just can't seem to think it through.

More from Grigg and McElroy.

Taking DNA is not any different from taking fingerprints, and the police have been using force to get those for years. I am not sure this is anything new.

It may not be new, but it is still repugnant.

Breaking fingers, electric shocks, it's all pain.

There is a world of difference between being physically restrained and and having officers take a suspect's unyielding hand to apply prints on paper or a machine, and this case where pain is deliberately inflicted to give up information - and that's what your DNA is, data carried in a biological medium - to the state.
This is Abu Ghraib rules folks.

They just keep squeezing don't they?

Now come on! If the COPS have to get a little rough to get what they need to get a perp punished, who are you to question them? I mean who do you all think you are?

Do you think yourselves Peers? Citizens? Men?

Why don't you serfs put your heads back down and stop questioning your betters?

Hell, it was the COPS what dunnit, so, it was the right thing to do!

2021: A revolutionary forensic test using a suspect's brain tissue solves unsolvable crimes.
All police departments buy Gigli saws.
Supreme Court rules trepanning (opeing a hole in the skull) "not an illegal search."

I'll tell you who I am. I'm the man they must kill if they do that to me or mine. If they don't the price they will pay will be far higher than they are willing to pay. They will not be safe from me, nor will anybody they care about. I will take to them what they brought to me.

Of course, they could just do things properly and nothing at all will happen to them.
