We're the Only Ones "You Got 30 Minutes" Enough

Veteran Miami-Dade prosecutor David Ranck faces battery charges after an alleged scuffle with a pizza delivery woman on Saturday during a delivery that went horribly wrong. [More]
What "went wrong"? You mean it's not OK for a man to hit a woman, or an officer of the court to assault a citizen?
Police sided with the pizza woman on Saturday, but did not take Ranck to lock up. He was released on his own recognizance.
So does that mean you or I can assault delivery people without fearing a night in the slammer, too, or is that reserved for extra-cheesy and crusty "Only Ones"?

Tried to leave this at their comments;

I am simply stunned at the number of men here who have automatically bowed their heads and bent their knees to the "authority". It is even more stunning to note how many of them are women haters. Where did all the manhood go? Further, even if true that she "tapped" him with her car, why would he have followed her to her car? Why would he not know that the prosecutor's office would have prosecuted anybody else who did "took the law into their own hands instead of calling the police"? That is giving the benefit of every doubt and he still comes out a self-absorbed thug who thinks he is immune to the rule of law, the law he enforces against others. This man should be separated from his license, and position of trust for the rest of his life.

It's "not foreseeable" that a child will reach into grandma's purse? Sorry -- I call bullshit on that one.

Kids can, will, and do, reach into all sorts of places they ought not to all the time -- which is why we as "adults" have to be vigilant at all times. Especially when the pistol in question in a Glock with no manually activated safety.

Commenters complain about the juvenile writing. I agree. Blatant editorializing and "Look how clever I can be" worthy of a college newspaper article by a freshman. Touching another human being in a hostile manner is no comedy material. If The Rank One had manhandled a REPORTER, ooohh, now THAT would be serious, I'm sure. Journalists have rights, they say.
Does Ranck have the stones for going into high-crime areas and thumping thugs? I laugh.
