Leigh Winchell, the ICE Hyperbole Queen

The Desert Eagle pistol can "blow a hole the size of a Mack truck through a person," said Leigh Winchell, regional chief of Immigration and Customs Enforcement. [More]
Basically, what she's saying is this:

Oooh--"powerful weapons"...boogedy-boogedy!

Hysteria objective achieved. Job well done, "Authorized Journalist" Tim Klass of the AP.

Hey, I wonder if these are among the 90% of Mexican "crime guns" we need to cite in order to further restrict U.S. gun sales?

Uh, I sometimes carry a gun in .45 caliber.

That's only .05 away from being a dreaded .50 so I guess it's 95% as scary, right?

Unless they have improved the .50 Desert Eagle, it's a piece of crap that jams after about 5 shots due to fouling. Shooting it was a good test of whether you were flinching or not.
I wasn't.
