They haven't caught them yet, so what proof do they have that they aren't cops? They are acting like cops and claiming to be cops. Well, except I guess they haven't whipped out the Tasers yet. Maybe that is how the authoriturds know the thugs are freelancers.
I'm tired of saying this over and over the SOP for everyone needs to be SHOOT ANYONE that comes through your door uninvited.
This will stop SWAT dynamic entries (which often are on the wrong house) and it will stop home invasions.
Chris- That didn't work out so well for Cory Maye, but I agree it should be SOP.
And for God's sake, make sure you go for head shots. They may be wearing body armor.

Kent beat me to it, but I would have done what Maye, and would still do it, knowing what happened to Maye.
This will only stop when the cops are afraid to do it. When that happens the crooks will not be protected by the "cop culture".
