We're the Only Ones Suspended Enough

An Oklahoma trooper accused of using excessive force while stopping and arresting a paramedic will receive a five-day suspension without pay for his actions...[More]
Why such a light response?
An internal investigation concluded that Trooper Daniel Martin was justified in stopping and arresting paramedic Maurice White during a traffic stop.
Of course he was.

Oh my, "it was justified".

Just remember that when you are being hauled by an ambulance, especially in Oklahoma.

5 days suspension without pay......hmmmm....sounds like vacation to me.

Anger management class????? If there is no problem, then why the therapy?

Can we spell CYOA??

Can't say anymore, already too riled up this mornin'.

But look at the bright side, at least the trooper got close to two months off as paid vacation. The stress caused by this unruly peon surely entitled him to that.

(note the above was sarcasm)

These bastards are painting themselves into a box. Could that box be a pine one?

Someday, when the badge-bullies least expect it, the law of unintended consequences will kick into high gear. Then it will be too late for LEOs to pick which side of the fence they are on. They are making their choice today.

"Could that box be a pine one?"

That would be a waste of perfectly good wood.

yeah, but a garbage can would rust away and poison the ground with the contents.
