I'll cede at this point the guy may have been set up--matter of fact, if we're to afford him the same consideration as everyone else, we must presume his innocence until proven guilty. After all, the whole point of the "Only Ones" Files is we all have the same rights, no more, no less.

i don't see any mention of any other motive than the payout that would disconnect the ex-husband.
yet, it is hard to believe that this scumbag would only ask for $5,000 to commit murder one if all his priors are insurance scams. unless maybe mike shedlock is right about "deflation."
of course the least trustworthy actors in this situation are the writers, who get paid to attract people to this article and not other ones from competing media operations.
