Hollywood Anti-Gun Hypocrisy Not New

When it comes to guns, Hollywood suffers from a self-imposed dissociative identity disorder. On the one hand, we have stars like Arnold Schwarzenegger making fabulous careers for themselves portraying heroes who solve problems using guns as tools to fight evil, and on the other hand, we have politicians like Arnold Schwarzenegger signing edicts that infringe on the ability of his audience and constituents to do just that.

This isn't new. Here's an example from half a century ago. [

Sylvester Stallone has made a fortune on the silver screen killing people with machine guns and exploding arrows. Yet he embraces gun control for the commoners. In 1998, Sly said, "Until America, door to door, takes every handgun, this is what you're gonna have. It's pathetic. It really is pathetic. It's sad. We're living in the Dark Ages over there."

Typical Hollywood.

Some-where on the web are copy's of Sly's CCW permits. As for Arnold. He's made millions with action films, but Hey He's only shot blanks. I guess thats like "Not inhaling" or "being outside US territorial waters" .

Maybe they should re-release "Commando" and where AH nold says "Let me get my rifle" and goes for the HK91 to defend his house and daughter, they could CGI in something else like in E.T., maybe a garden hose or pepper spray.
