We're the Only Ones Resigned Enough

Both officers had been decommissioned and put on paid administrative leave for more than a year and a half while they were under investigation internally, and as part of a federal probe, to determine if they were part of a steroid ring in Middle Tennessee...

Neither actually returned to work, instead using leftover vacation time for the duration of their employment... [More]
Why resign from an "Only Ones" gig that gives you so much paid time off and vacation? It's not like you could find anything that...uh...competitive in the private sector...

How can I get paid administrative leave for more than a year and a half while under investigation internally, and as part of a federal probe? I could really use the time off with pay. It'd be a great vacation. Oh, I guess I'd have to be an "only one" to get that kind of royal treatment.
People who run their own businesses get nothing that they don't earn. Not a penny. No time off with pay, no paid vacations or holidays. No health insurance or pension plan. Nada.
Meanwhile, de facto Marxists, with their government jobs, are employed as if they were part of a royal family, since they’re eligible to be paid for doing nothing more than existing - and that after they’ve screwed up so badly that they can’t be allowed to work.
