Just spoke with Mike, who wanted you all to know that he will be offline for an indeterminate period of time, as he was headed at that time to Trinity Medical Center in Birmingham for an evaluation of his heart. [More]Naturally, I'll be keeping an eye on this. Those inclined to offer prayers, now seems a good time.
UPDATE: Just spoke with him. For now he's resting comfortably. Should have more info. tomorrow.

I pray for Mike's full recovery.
He is more than a good friend, he is a teacher and mentor who have influenced me in so many ways that no book of any length be sufficient to describe.
I offer my best wishes for Mike and his family.

Any further news?
Comes home tomorrow but I don't have a health report. I figure what I've been told--which ain't that much-- is up to him to disclose. But I view it as good that they're releasing him instead of keeping him.
