Seattle Gun Owner to Defy Nickels' Park Ban

Something is going to happen today in Seattle that gun owners everywhere should be interested in following: A citizen is going to defy a gun ban. Live and in person, and apparently for everyone who is interested to watch. [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner brings you breaking news that's about to unfold. This one needs eyes on it, so please spread the link far and wide this morning. The more of us watching this, the less chance there will be an over-reaction, and anyone who would bar a fellow human being from keeping and bearing arms--under force of state arms--has already demonstrated there is no perversion of justice they are incapable of.

Also get an update on a gun rights documentary and the latest from my fellow GREs.

i have on occasion defied the particularly unjust handgun laws of a particularly large metropolitan area of decidedly ill repute by carrying concealed when passing through an area that, supposedly, one may not pass through with one's steel locked and unloaded in the trunk.

not sure i would make a news item of it beyond this, as i hear they send you to prison on the first offense.

well, more power to him. i can't afford the equivalent legal defense. i can't afford to be robbed at a rest stop on the interstate, either. funny how cities turn out criminals almost as fast as they turn out decrees intended to disarm you before them and subject you to them.

in vain, i might add.
